IT Consultant III- Sr. Finance Consultant/Architect -SAP FICO Full Time

Job Title: Sr. Finance Consultant/Architect

Key Responsibilities:

1. Expertise in architecting and driving custom reports like Financial Statements, Cash Flow and profit and loss reports.
2. Designing, implementing, and supporting complex business processes in an SAP environment.
3. Designing, building, testing, and deploying SAP FICO technical solutions, emphasizing RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms) design.
4. Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
5. Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
6. Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust.
7. Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required.
8. Coordinate and liaison with other cross-functional Workstreams, Strategic Integration Vendors, SMEs, Communities of Practice, IT Solution Architects/COE, and Stakeholders across the network to develop a strong and deep pool of expertise across Finance processes and Applications.
9. Liaise with the SMEs to develop training plans for each of the key Applications to enhance the knowledge base across the Finance Domain.
10. Identify System enhancements, including reports, setting system targets, preparing estimates and understanding actuals through critical analytics.
11. Support cross-functional teams across organizational entities to drive business systems through improvement and sustainable changes.
12. Analyze, design, and implement S/4 Hana system improvements through interaction with internal users and customers to understand and document system requirements to produce business requirements documents (BRDs).
13. Identify and support end user system access and/or transactional issues and interface with additional internal/external resources as required.
14. Team with internal auditors during deployment of system audits.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. 15 years of experience in financial roles.
3. Strong understanding of Finance operations.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and across departments.
7. Experience in process automation and cost-saving initiatives is a plus.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

1. Exceptional ability to comprehend and translate complex functional requirements. Proven experience in leading complex projects.
2. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills for effective leadership in cross-functional teams.
3. Proven experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
4. Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support projects and solution requirements.
5. SAP certification(s) in SAP S/4 Hana Finance is highly advantageous.
