Principal SAP EWM Enterprise Applications Consultant, Roche Full Time

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP EWM Enterprise Applications Consultant

As a Principal Enterprise Applications SAP EWM consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building, helping to detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.


  • Location for this position is San Francisco, CA and candidate will need to work from the office regularly (no travel).

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 11 years of functional consulting experience in SAP EWM (EWM 9.0 and higher is desirable), including 2-3 full cycle implementations from Blueprint to post-implementation support, including roll-out experience.
  • Experience in leading EWM requirements gathering, preparation of functional specification documents (FSD), technical functional specification documents (TSD), and supporting Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), executed data migration, and user training in EWM implementation and roll-outs.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Outbound, Inbound & Internal Warehouse Operations, with system configuration for Goods Receipt with Put-away, Picking, Packaging, Kitting, Put-away/Interleaving, Transfer Postings, Physical Inventory, Bin to Bin Stock Movements, Cross Docking, Replenishments, Cycle Counts, Batching/Wave Planning, Consolidation, Slotting and Rearrangement, Mobile Data Entry Integration, and Reports for Labor Management and Label Printing.
  • Experience in architecting, designing, and implementing complex configuration management solutions for all EWM scenarios, integration with MM, SD, PP, QM, and TM, and leading the team to produce defect-free products at the end of SIT & UAT.
  • SAP Configuration experience in one or more modules is a plus.
  • Experience in leading a team or managing WMS consulting projects is desirable.
  • Strong experience in scoping, requirements gathering, and solution design and build.
  • Excellent communication skills; multilingual proficiency is a plus, but English must be fluent.
  • Full life cycle experience in multiple SAP projects, enhancement, and/or roll-out & implementation.
  • Strong techno-functional skills and a good team player.
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A high degree of initiative and flexibility.
  • High quality awareness.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per job requirements.
