About the Opportunity:
In this role, you will support the region with various functions such as setup and installations, hardware troubleshooting, and configurations. You will have the opportunity to build relationships and service multiple locations while having a consistent base. If you enjoy helping others and physically troubleshooting devices, this may be a great fit for you.
No two days are the same, but the typical position responsibilities include:
- Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests for assistance from locations
- Setup and install new desktop and laptop equipment
- Resolve the majority of technical issues without additional assistance
- Provide proper follow-through to ensure issues are resolved to satisfaction
- Provide support for iPhone, iPad, Android, and other electronic devices
- Install cat5 cabling, fiber, or cameras
- Ability to install all IT hardware
You might be the right fit if you have these skills:·
- Enjoy solving a variety of problems on a continual basis
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN and WAN network topology and design
- Hardware troubleshooting and build experience with HP Desktops
- Able to move PC equipment (monitors, printers, laptops, etc.) as required to complete assigned installation and troubleshooting tasks
Additional qualifications for this role include:
- Ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
- MCP, CCENT, and A+ Certifications
- HP and Cisco software and hardware experience
- Knowledge of Cisco or other Voice Over IP systems
Minnesota Compensation and Benefits:
- $25 per hour, full time
