Accounts Payable Clerk

This position is for candidates with the ability to to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Major responsibilities

• Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

• Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

• Provide support during internal and external audits

• Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

• Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

• Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

• Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

• Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

• Conduct full-cycle A/P Requirements – Spreadsheet and database capabilities

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

• Strong familiarity with Accrued Expenses

• Comprehensive knowledge of NetSuite

• Code Invoices experience required

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
