Provide support to the sales and production departments of an established globally recognized industry leader of local and off-shore electronics manufacturing services (cable assembly and wire harness manufacturing).

Job Description

ALL FUNCTIONS OF ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE: posting cash receipts, remote deposit, collections, set up new customers, familiarity with credit insurance.

Responsibilities

  1. Process invoices daily.
  2. Apply cash receipts to customer accounts daily.
  3. Input inventory quantity adjustment entry daily on alternative months.
  4. Send out invoices to customers via USPS, email and/or website submission.
  5. Prepare Sales Profit Margin Analysis Reports to CEO and sales persons weekly.
  6. Make A/R collection calls on Thursdays and Fridays.
  7. Answer customer and salesperson inquiries, resolve disputes and discrepancies with customers.
  8. Apply A/R credit for new customers with Euler, A/R insurance carrier.
  9. Credit check on potential new customer with lower than $10K credit limit.
  10. Set up new customer in ERP system.
  11. Assign fixed asset tag number and update Fixed Assets Log.
  12. Prepare and audit sales Rep commission reports monthly.
  13. Prepare and submit Quarterly sales and use tax return to State government.
  14. Assist monthly, mid-year and year end physical inventory count.
  15. Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
  16. Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
  17. Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
  18. Assist with month end and year end closings.
  19. Complete special accounting projects as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  2. 1+ year’s relevant accounting experience.
  3. Excellent knowledge and practical understanding of GAAP.
  4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
  6. Detail oriented.
  7. Work well with co-workers, vendors and customers.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Experience in a Manufacturing environment is preferred.

Compensation

$22 – $27/hourly
