This dynamic team is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to join their growing company. The ideal candidate for this position can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. What you get to do every day
– Enter and balance financial data in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts
– Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced
– Ensure accuracy of documents and codes
– Handle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
– Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required
– Reply to information requests from stake holders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department
– Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures
