Summary:
This position is responsible for preparing, mailing and/or electronically transmitting primary or secondary claim forms, and patient invoices according to established office procedures and time frames. This includes but is not limited to, all patient financial papers being complete; cash posting; and collection follow up calls to the appropriate payer. This position will work with members of the CBO as well as the Kindred Healthcare partnership hospitals to ensure all day to day operations that affect accounts receivable function are addressed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required. Some college preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in medical billing capacity.
- Experience in third party and Medicare billing and collections.
