Gateway church
Principal Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support and maintain calendar.
- Prepare and process expense reports, PO’s, invoices, check request and receipts. Maintain a record of actual monthly expenses to assist with budgeting. Order and maintain office supplies and printed materials.
- Accurately and confidentially process any business documents, applications, letters, emails, fax documents and return phone calls. Stewardship of deadlines, priorities and details required for a project or as requested to support others.
- Set up appointments and update calendar(s) for self and others. Maintain the volunteer database along with the communication required to ensure proper scheduling, training and expectations in support of leadership
- Schedule, develop & implement action plans to prepare for ministry or department events; Work closely with Event Administration (and volunteers) to assist leaders before, after and (possibly) during an event
- Coordinate and communicate with media department concerning all printed materials, promotional pieces and electronic information concerning the ministry
- Provide assistance with all phone calls, emails and events as needed
- EMS, Media, and planning for trainings and classes
- Administrate Team Meetings
- Assist with the management of office files and confidential records and case management
- Be main administrative contact person for outside churches
- Other duties as assigned
General Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
General Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Sit/stand for long periods of time
- Occasionally kneel, or crouch
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
