We re seeking an Application Development Manager – Director to join our Corporate Engineering Enterprise Risk Technology team.

Enterprise Risk Technology is a Global Team focused on providing solutions that allow the Bank of New York Mellon to manage to our Risk Appetite in the areas of Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk and Enterprise Risk. Our solutions incorporate cloud, SaaS, Vendor and custom built solutions based on what s best for each situation. We are always looking for strong technologists that want to push the envelope and continually learn.

This role is preferred to be in Pittsburgh, Lake Mary (Northern Orlando, FL), or New York City – hybrid .

In this role, you ll make an impact in the following:

• Interact directly with the Chief Credit Risk Officer and team both on delivery of analytic projects such as Early Warning Indicators / Criticized Assets as well as laying out the future of Credit Risk reporting
• Be an energetic Leader inspiring a strong Engineering Team
• Drive deliverables with consideration of key technologies (Angular, Java, Oracle, Apache, SonarCube)

To be successful in this role, we re seeking the following:

• Minimum 10 years experience
• Track record of strong technology delivery across multiple disciplines (database, workflow, Frontend, Ad-hoc/fixed reporting)
• Agile Experience with multiple pods including PI Planning
• Experience in growth/development of teams into project delivery machines
• Strong background in Financial Risk Management.
• DevOps, End to End Testing and SecOps experience
