We are seeking a commercial lawyer whose primary responsibility will be negotiating customer and vendor agreements. You will work closely with D&B’s sales, data, and product organizations, and collaborate with D&B experts in privacy, security, finance, and operations with respect to licensing D&B products, and services across multiple lines of business and the purchase of software, services, and data to support D&B’s products and services.  You will have responsibility for reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts, large and small.   

Essential Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate customer and vendor agreements, including master service agreements and product order forms, data licensing agreements, Software and SaaS agreements.
  • Understand D&B’s products across multiple lines of business, including the various flows of data associated with those products.
  • Engage business colleagues and leaders, and work with cross-functional stakeholders across geographies to close deals and improve processes. 

Education/Experience and Competencies

  • JD with 2-4 years relevant law firm or in-house work experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of contracts, contract law, and contract negotiation, preferably in SaaS and Data licensing.
  • Working knowledge of US and global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Digital marketing or ad tech experience is a plus
  • Clear and concise drafting skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to thrive and deliver in a highly demanding, innovative and constantly changing corporate and regulatory environment.
  • JD from an ABA law school and admittance to practice in Florida or eligibility for limited license for in-house counsel under RULE 1:27-2 is required.
