What you’ll do The Business Systems Analyst I will apply understanding of business systems requirements fundamentals and application systems support.

This position serves as a collaborator for multiple business projects and support requests requiring specialized skills and breadth of expertise using a variety of tools supporting all Pioneer Human Services variety lines of business. Systems support includes but is not limited to ERP, property management software, financial software packages, manufacturing production level software and device software. This role is responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders in conceptualizing business initiatives, identifying necessary data for systems, completing complex analyses, and interpreting and disseminating results to key audiences in a manner appropriate to each audience. This individual will also be involved with understanding the principles of data visualization, process optimization, requirements translation and helpdesk applications support concepts supporting the PHS IT Helpdesk unit with application and data systems expertise.

The Business Systems Analyst I should be able to work as part of a team and independently as needed as well as being able to work with a cross-functional team within a larger organizational environment to ensure timely completion of work. Monitors and executes relative IT help desk Service Requests and Incident Reports. The position supports senior level IT roles. This is a hybrid position of remote and in-office in the greater Seattle area, localized residency is required.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Identifies, extracts, and scrubs data from legacy systems for migration into new solutions Creates, tests, performs upgrade testing and execution for business systems Integrates data from various internal and external sources in order to provide data for analysis and/or reporting Works with various reporting tools including but not limited to Crystal Reports, SSRS Works with subject matter experts and end users to validate business systems and data requirements Works with the IT Helpdesk team supporting all applications, database systems and end users Maps data and reporting services across the organization Applies advanced troubleshooting skills across business systems and procedures Performs business systems administration and applies subject matter expertise supporting end users Formulates validation strategies and methods to ensure accurate and reliable data Responsible for IT weekly, monthly and annual systems maintenance management and audit reporting Develops system end user procedures and documentation, develops and manages documentation updates and documentation lifecycles Performs other duties as required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: SSRS, Crystal Reports or similar reporting software experience in a working environment Training or experience with manufacturing, financial and enterprise level systems management ERP experience preferred Business systems training skills and end user technical support skills QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience) Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, health informatics or business (or an additional four years of recent and relevant work experience may be considered) Three or more years experience in business systems analysis or similar Two years training or experience with SQL, SSRS, MS Visual Studio, or similar data analysis and reporting tools Demonstrated knowledge of business service systems and the ability to operate complex computer business applications and systems Intermediate to advanced proficiency and development experience with Microsoft Office and 365 Demonstrated proficiency in defining problems, requirements analysis, application tools selection and methods for standard reports and testing proof of concepts Excellent communication skills across diverse business communities Ability to work in a collaborative and supportive way with teams and colleagues from across the organization and interact comfortably with a wide range of individuals PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to sit or stand while operating a computer for extended periods of time with reasonable accommodations. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is not a 100% remote position, residency in the greater Seattle area is a requirement. Hybrid office work environment, both remote work and on premise. Must be available for team meetings, after hours and weekend work as required for projects.
