We seek a detail-oriented Cable Harness/Electrical Assembler to join our Torrance, United States team. In this role, you will assemble cable harnesses, electrical boxes, and wire harnesses with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are met for our electronic products. Strong experience in IPC J Standard electrical assembly experience encouraged to apply. Assemble cable harnesses, wire harnesses, and electrical boxes, among other aerospace projects according to technical specifications and drawings.Read and interpret blueprints for electronic assembly.Knowledge of cable assemblies with a high degree of accuracyRoute connectors to power supply, components, and chassieassembly of electrical drawers; strong route wire/multi-pin assemblyRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructionsproject includes rectangular and circular connectors of over 100 pins Utilize various hand tools and assembly equipment to complete tasks efficientlyConduct quality control checks and inspections on assembled componentsMaintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and productivityCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesIdentify and report any defects or issues in materials or processesAdhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes
High school diploma or equivalent required6+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry working on cable harnesses or electronic assembly6+ years of hands-on interpreting aerospace blueprints, routing wires, and electronic assembliesProficiency in cable harness assembly techniques and PCB populationStrong soldering skills with attention to detailAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsExperience using hand tools and assembly equipmentKnowledge of quality control and inspection techniques in electronics manufacturingFamiliarity with IPC standards for electronics assemblyTechnical certification in electronics assembly J Standard IPC preferredStrong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectivelyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic computer skills for data entry and documentationPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
