Cash Accountant

Cash AccountantWe are seeking a Cash Accountant to join a large, global company located south of Boston. The Cash Accountant will be hands-on in all cash/AR processes and report to an excellent AR Accounting Manager who wants to mentor this role. Ideal candidates will have high-volume cash accounting experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is fully in-office in the Canton area.

Responsibilities:Perform month-end close activities (journal entries, account reconciliations, etc. )Process cash receivables; support all Accounts Receivable functionsNavigate a large ERP system; support systems upgradesEnsure accurate US GAAP accounting standards are metContribute to annual audit procedureSupport the Controller and Accounting Manager with ad-hoc projects as neededQualifications:Bachelor’s degree OR work experience1+ years of cash accounting or accounts receivable (AR) experienceStrong Excel; experience using a large-scale ERP systemExcellent analytical and communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment
