Job Details

We seeking an experienced real estate attorney to handle leases, purchase and sale transactions, and financings. The ideal candidate would have experience structuring real estate development deals, handling 1031 exchanges, and/or advising clients regarding property tax issues. The firm has many clients with substantial real estate portfolios across diverse property types, including commercial, industrial, agricultural, multi-family, and hotels.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

Drafting operating agreements and partnership agreements that include multi-class structures and distribution waterfalls
Serving as lead counsel on various real estate transactions
Working directly with lenders, appraisers, and advisors

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience as a real estate transactional attorney
J.D. from an accredited law school; a member in good standing of the California Bar
Strong drafting skills
Highly team-oriented
