Talent Acquisition Manager
Overview:
We are looking for dynamic, experienced Talent Acquisition Managers to join our growing Human Resources team. We have two positions currently available, each supporting a specific Group within the broader Company.
The Company:
Supply Management company that provides Strategic Planning, Global Sourcing, Technical Services, Parts and Materials, Logistics, Distribution, Inventory Management and Program Implementation services to diversified original equipment manufacturers, assemblers, and distributors worldwide. Includes Apollo Aerospace Components, Total MRO Supply and Southern Fasteners, collectively employing approximately 1500 people with annual revenues in excess of $600M.
Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will support the recruiting and hiring of employees across all roles within the division organization. The role will engage with our business leaders and help to identify and select our future talent. This role reports to the Director of Human Resources and is responsible to partner with Operations and HR leaders in all businesses/regions.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  1. Works with Corporate leaders and Branch Managers, reporting directly to Senior Director of Human Resources to gain insight into the short/medium/long term business needs and current talent challenges
  2. Able to demonstrate understanding of “big picture while leading incremental change in our client groups
  3. Implement innovative recruiting methods and procedures, with a focus on filling office and production level positions
  4. Comfortable with planning/performing volume recruiting at the hourly level, but able to staff salaried EEs as needed
  5. Capable of developing and owning a TA practice focused primarily on a field-based model
  6. Organized and able to implement consistent TA processes
  7. Create and post job opportunities with the most effective recruiting sources to attract slates of diverse, qualified candidates (job boards, networks, professional associations, strategic recruiting partners, etc.)
  8. Leads internal searches and identifies the best talent both internally and externally for key vacancies
  9. Screen candidates and interview for select roles to identify top talent and create shortlists of candidates utilizing criteria agreed with hiring managers
  10. Develop relationships with hiring managers, identify and present diverse, qualified candidates and keep hiring managers updated on screening and hiring status
  11. Responsible for the delivery of talent acquisition processes including ensuring overall search quality
  12. Supports employer branding activities, University relationships, professional program partnerships and training programs where applicable
  13. Recommends continuous improvements and leads implementation of changes to recruiting tools and processes and ensures compliance with local legislation and HR policies
  14. Supports utilization of timely data analytics and reporting activities to manage candidate pipeline and other recruitment metrics
  15. Utilize and enhance applicant tracking and related systems and documentation
  16. Continuously enhance recruiting processes to ensure an outstanding applicant experience
  17. Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above
  18. Open to travel for 1:1 relationship building and manager training (20%)
  19. Aware of best practices and comfortable with the client manager/SME role
  20. Adept at building and sustaining relationship with client managers and teams
  21. Effective communicator who is comfortable driving processes and maintaining standards through positive collaboration

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with full lifecycle recruiting including position definition, sourcing/marketing plan, candidate outreach and screening methodologies
  • Excellent creative ability in sourcing candidates
  • Demonstrated success with various recruiting strategies and techniques, including use of digital and social media
  • Strong end-to-end process thinking and experience of managing change projects
  • Knowledge of different recruitment platforms and experience leveraging these tools to source candidates; Enterprise HCM/ATS experience a plus
  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent relationship building, collaboration and driving team spirit capabilities with a history of working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic and inclusive
  • Sound judgment and decision-making, intellectually curious
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, balance multiple projects and processes and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Position also requires analytical/problem solving abilities, effective verbal and written communication skills, attentiveness to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office products (specifically, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • High moral standards
  • Must have work authorization that permits working in the US
