Position: Database Analyst/Programmer Senior (QLIK Data Architect)

Job Summary
KaiHonua is seeking Database Analyst/Programmer Senior to join our rapidly growing team.
Responsibilities and Duties (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
The ideal candidate will have the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA) to utilize the QLIK data analytic tool to find meaningful information and prepare data visualizations to support ongoing analysis. Certification in QLIK Data Analyst and Data Architect is preferred, but not required.
The candidate will have the KSAs to work with SQL Server databases. This includes practical use of the T-SQL language used to query and select data from tables, views, stored procedures, and scalar and table value functions (SVF and TVF). Will also need practical skills in connecting to SQL Server databases and being able to communicate data schema requirements to a team of software developers in order to collect and persist data to be used in QLIK applications.
The candidate shall utilize data analytics tool QLIK Sense to create QLIK applications and visualizations that reveal meaningful information to the intended audience. The candidate must be able to remain effective with platform improvements to QLIK Sense.
Qualifications
Certification in QLIK Data Analyst and Data Architect is preferred, but not required.
The candidate must be capable of working with a team of software developers to convey the data needed from various data sources, or be able to communicate data needed to be collected to other business analysts on the development team and help prepare requirements for a development team to construct information systems solutions to collect, store, and utilize the data in the QLIK application and associated visualizations and stories.
- 3+ years of experience with QLIK preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred
- Must possess and maintain an IT-I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and an IAT-I certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M- 0002
- Candidate must have solid knowledge of information security principles and practices, as well as an understanding of security protocols and standards.
- Extensive knowledge of Data Analytics
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weigh up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
