Job Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a full-time, outside sales/customer service role, as a Dental Sales Representative. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior experience in a dental office or for a sales professional looking to transition into the medical sales field.

Position Overview
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day sales activities within the Southeastern PA region- specifically the area surrounding our office (Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Montgomery counties).

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships in person, by phone and by email.
• Preparing sales reports and meeting sales goals.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies.
• Attending industry events and trade shows (minimal travel required 0-14 days per year).

Work Environment:

• This is a full-time position. Daily hours and location will vary based on dental office location and availability.
• Fieldwork: 3-4 days per week visiting dental offices within a one-hour radius of our Coatesville office.
• Office work: 1-2 days per week at our Coatesville location collaborating with team, planning upcoming week, following up on prior sales calls and outstanding tasks, and assisting with customer service and order processing activities.
• Time in the office/in the field may vary depending on increases in business or covering vacations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• In addition to fieldwork sales activities, this role involves in-office customer service tasks such as:
• Answering and making telephone calls and communicating with clients via email.
• Creating sales orders, estimates, and invoices.
• Entering, processing, and shipping orders.

Please note: Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

First-year total compensation is expected to range between $50,000 and $70,000, with the potential for continued growth as you expand your book of business.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer relationship management experience
• Basic computer skills- Outlook, Word, Excel
• Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Comfortable use of navigation maps and route planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Sales, marketing, and business development skills
• Customer relationship management experience
• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Knowledge of the dental or healthcare industry
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience with Quickbooks, CRM, and or email marketing sites

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

• Driving to and from dental offices, up to 5 days a week
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, talking, hearing, visual acuity
• Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time at vendor shows
• Infrequently moving, carrying, lifting, objects more than 40 pounds.

Salary Description

$40,000 – $50,000, plus commission
