About the Position:
- Up to $32 Per Hour – Based on Experience & Skill Set
- 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday – Weekends OFF
- You will maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment.
- Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
- Perform system repairs to include engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive-train, steering and suspension, electrical and A/C.
- Perform all preventive maintenance inspections, state and federal-mandated safety inspections and complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, and refrigeration systems.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 Years of Related Experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Certification From a Diesel Mechanic Trade School
- Must Be Able to Work on Fleet of Class 8 Diesel Tractors and Lift Gate Equipped Dry Van Trailers
- Must Have Your Own Set of Tools
- Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- CDL B License is Preferred
- Diagnostic Skills – Cummins, MX, Detroit, Paccar
- Ability to Read, Write, and Speak English
- Basic Math Skills, Diagnostic Skills, Communication Skills, and Knowledge of Hydraulics
- Computer Proficiency with Microsoft Office and TMT Applications
