The purpose of the Electrician is to troubleshoot, maintain, manage, and upgrade existing electromechanical systems to ensure an economical and safe distribution of electricity. This position performs journeyman level electrical work by maintaining the terminal and various support buildings electrical distribution equipment, lighting systems, and various electrical devices on a daily basis in accordance with NEC, NFPA, and FAA Advisory Circulars. This role acts as a first responder to emergency calls for various types of electrical failures and shutdowns. Responds to trouble calls involving troubleshooting of circuits, tripped breakers, overloaded circuits and repairs or replacement of system components. Manages Airside and landside lighting for terminals, surrounding buildings, street pole lights and airfield lighting systems.
