In this role the Employee Engagement Generalist II will be responsible to develop a company-wide action planning framework while working in collaboration with business partners to develop action plans based on employee feedback. The ideal candidate will have experience developing strategic action plans, designing employee programs, and managing large-scale projects. The objective(s) of this role are to establish an environment that engages and retains employees. Designs, manages, and implements engagement programs, initiatives, and action plans to support ALDI’s engagement framework and strategy while driving a positive employee experience.

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:

* Ensures program alignment with ALDI’s Employer Brand and partners with teams on engagement content and communication.
* Applies a consultative approach to maintain partnerships with leaders to build organizational
* capability through the development of solutions that address root causes to engagement issues.
* Advises on any changes or actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
* Informs management of recurring issues or when additional team training may be required.
* Manages key components of the employee engagement strategy and framework, including recommending, developing, implementing, and evaluating current policies, toolkits, governance, guidelines and templates.
* Creates and administers cost-effective programs that provide services, amenities and tools to
increase engagement, recognition and retention.
* Acts as a project manager on high priority employee engagement projects and initiatives by identifying dependencies and understanding how outcomes affect other areas of the business.
* Evaluates reporting needs with the Employee Experience Team for assigned projects, collaborating to determine ROI for leadership and various business partners.
* Leads identification and development of appropriate project documentation, effectively
communicating the status and potential organization impact that may result from the project’s completion.
* Assists in training and developing team members to retain a motivated and professional workforce.
* Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
* Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Education, Communications or a related field required.
* A minimum of 5 years progressive experience in designing company-wide employee engagement, change management and culture transformation initiatives required.
* Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
* Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and other office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
* Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
* Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
* Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Travel:
* Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
