Epic Application Analyst

At Volt, our greatest strength is our people. Volt is immediately hiring Epic Application Analyst in Renton, WA. It’s a 100% remote role. The Epic Application Analyst will: The Epic Application Analyst will design, validate, and confirm new or changed functionality with the Epic environment that meets customer specifications.

Develop and modify system configurations that meet design requirements. Provide complex qualitative and quantitative analysis on data and information collected as part of application requirement gathering. Provide consulting support for customized implementation and installation of the software and related integration elements. Understand and translate the business functionality into Epic system configuration and workflow validations.

Work closely with business users and application team to design, build and execute a comprehensive integration and user acceptance test plan and scripts. Conduct most phases of testing: unit, assembly, integration, and user acceptance tests. Conduct programming code related peer reviews; resolve issues. Work with the team leadership to create detailed application designs that conform to application architecture guidelines.

Required Experience: Minimum 9 years industry related experience (healthcare, information services, or within applicable area) with information services experience Proficient in complex troubleshooting and problem solving, performing root cause analysis on development and production support related issues. Previous experience with client/server and host-based systems, SQL proficiency is preferred. Lead highly complex technical decision-making efforts. Proficient in all aspects of design, development and testing and best practices of Enterprise application implementations.

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Epic experience is strongly preferred. Any certifications relating to software applications, technology infrastructure and or clinical specializations are an advantage. Some application suites require advanced current clinical knowledge and expertise (Pharmacist, RN and LPN) as demonstrated by a current state license. This is a Full-time opportunity.
