Pay:$19.10 – $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience

Summary:

Under the guidance of senior staff, will gain hands-on experience by assisting in the daily operations and maintenance of the hospital’s physical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Develop practical skills and industry knowledge in building systems management in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Assist with routine maintenance and repairs, with exposure to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other key systems critical to hospital operations.

Assist with preventative maintenance tasks, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Troubleshoot, diagnose issues, document and report maintenance activities.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a related technical college or vocational program.
