Field Support Specialist

Responsibilities: Field Support Specialist function is to support sales initiatives and provide route coverage for their colleagues during vacation, sick, injury or any special projects as needed Field Support Specialist will work with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising and operations for all large & small format off premise stores. The primary role is to effectively service all customers in a safe, productive and professional manner to VPX Sports executional standards.

• Train with senior Account Sales Managers on their routes
• Cover Account Sales Managers routes when needed
• Evaluate all competitors activities such as new launches and price reductions and communicate
• with District Manager
• Manage VPX Sports products in assigned accounts
• Determine current and ongoing product needs at accounts
• Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with your customers to increase
• sales and selling space
• Build and protect VPX Sports brands
• Ensure that all VPX Sports equipment is clean and in good working order

Your Experience Includes:

• Prior Sales Experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Good mathematical skills
• Organizational skills
• Knowledge of the beverage market preferred
• Current driver s license with clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old

Physical Work Environment:

• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel
• Reach with hands and arms
• Speak, hear, and understand instructions
• Frequently transition between walking and sitting
• Occasionally stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Use specific vision abilities including: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth
• perception, and focus adjustment
• Work with or near moving mechanical parts, moderate to loud noise, outside weather
• conditions, and/or extreme temperatures
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• Forklift and commercial vehicle operations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of past sales experience – like industry preferred
• Self-disciplined
• Goal and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and follow through skills
• Valid clean driver s license
• Speak, hear, and understand instructions
• Frequently transition between walking and sitting
• Occasionally stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Use specific vision abilities including: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth
• perception, and focus adjustment
• Work with or near moving mechanical parts, moderate to loud noise, outside weather
• conditions, and/or extreme temperatures
• Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools.
• Has a whatever it takes attitude.
• A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives.
• Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
