Safety and Security Analyst I Lowell, MA

What Youll Do:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Working with the Security Officer, assists with the administration, annual update and review of the Banks Security Program.

+ Serves as a member of the New Hampshire Safety Committee and identifies potential safety and security hazards throughout the bank, implementing safety measures to mitigate security risk.

+ Conducts daily reviews of the surveillance system to determine if all devices are working properly, and takes action to remediate or replace dysfunctional devices. Fulfills requests from law enforcement and bank personnel for video surveillance recordings. Coordinates maintenance and upgrades to surveillance equipment as needed.

+ Administers physical key controls for the downtown Lowell campus and coordinates replacements and re-keying for all bank facilities, as needed.

+ Serves as a system administrator and is responsible for issuing, modifying and maintaining electronic access devices and alarms, and provides support in maintaining and administering the underlying software platform.

+ Tests, maintains and supports alarms systems, and coordinates service calls for dysfunctional devices. Responds to Securitas alarm notifications for the downtown buildings and takes necessary steps to verify any unauthorized building access.

+ Implements, maintains and tests GPS tracking devices. Coordinates maintenance of units, works with law enforcement on installation, and participates in a response.

+ Coordinate annual inspections of fire and AED equipment, and coordinates actions to maintain and/or repair dysfunctional devices.

+ Works with security vendors, performs vendor due diligence and assists with identifying alternative vendors, as needed.

+ Conducts security inspections on bank facilities, and coordinates with third parties to remediate weaknesses.

+ Assist with investigating and researching bank robbery investigations, check fraud, ATM Skimming, Debit card losses and counterfeit bills.

+ Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement.

+ Assists with the design and implementation of security, fire and safety equipment during bank construction and renovation projects.

+ Logs and investigates returned debit cards.

+ Manages after hour security details for Lowell facilities and coordinates details in branch locations, as needed. Reviews and investigates incidences reported, and follows-up with law enforcement, as needed.

+ Works with law enforcement to issue no trespass requests to problematic individuals.

+ Maintains the ticketing system to prioritize requests and incidents, assigns tickets to the security team, and documents the outstanding resolution of closed tickets.

+ Assists the Security Officer with internal training and awareness by notifying team members of alert notifications received from the FDIC, Crimedex, MA Fusion center and the Merrimack Valley Financial Crimes Network via eSource and email.

This position is Hybrid, or Onsite. Candidates from MA, NH, and ME only.

Requirements:

+ Bachelors or Associates degree. A concentration in criminal justice is preferred.

+ Two to four years of experience in security, operational risk management and/or banking; or

+ Equivalent combination of education and experience
