JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Houseperson
DEPARTMENT: Housekeeping
STATUS: Non-Exempt, Full Time, Part-Time, Regular
SUPERVISED BY: Rooms Manager, Assistant Rooms Manager
SUPERVISES: This position will not supervise anyone.
A Houseperson is responsible for providing our guests with an extraordinary beachfront escape, by providing a clean and sanitized guest room and public areas experience for guests and team members alike. Also, responsible for coordinating and organizing the laundry room cleaning activities. Every team member will enliven our Core Service Values in every aspect of their work performance. In addition to our core service values, you will be evaluated on your daily contributions towards achieving the hotel’s success metrics.
SUCCESS METRICS:
Your individual performance in delivering service excellence to each of our guests will impact the hotel’s success metrics for overall guest satisfaction scores, TripAdvisor Ranking, Mystery Shop Audits, and Accounting Audits. This will be part of your annual performance review.
- -Achieve and maintain TripAdvisor ranking within the Top 7 hotels in Santa Monica.
-Achieve a score of 90% or higher Overall Guest Satisfaction on Revinate Guest Surveys.
-Achieve a score of 92% or higher Overall Hotel Cleanliness
-Achieve a score of 90% or higher on Coyle Mystery Shop.
-Enliven the hotels green standards to maintain Green Certification.
