JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE As part of the HR Service Team, the HR Associate II position is a vital resource for Human Resources department, performs the full spectrum of the Employment, Onboarding/Offboarding of employees.

Additionally, acts as first point of contact for a variety of human resources functions, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and other HR processes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Experienced HR Service Team Member: performs triage on incoming calls directing calls to appropriate HR support; performs employee onboarding/offboarding tasks and assists new employee orientation Performs timely and complete background checks and credentialing verifications, ensures candidates meet classification requirements, develops and coordinates new employee offer letters. Performs onboarding process of new hires; overseeing new hire paperwork, organizing and conducting orientation and the offboarding of terming employees. Performs offboarding process tasks related to employee terminations.

Performs data entry in, and report generation from, the HR information systems relevant to the HR Service Operations functions Maintains employee files and related record keeping of personnel data, I-9 records, and personnel records; conducts routine audits. Enters HR Digital Records for all general employee data Assists in the continuous improvement efforts within the HR department, providing analysis and recommendations. Provides guidance and support to junior HR Service team member. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (4 years) EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year of HR work experience with six months of specific onboarding/offboarding experience KNOWLEDGE: Working knowledge of current general employment/labor law including federal, state and local statutes such as, EEOC, affirmative action, FMLA, FLSA and immigration regulations and guidelines.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Strong Computer skills (including typing, emails, software use), HRIS, 10-key, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and databases. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong written and verbal communication; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to set priorities; Strong problem solving, decision making skills; Ability to interpret data; Detail oriented, organizational and analytical skills; Ability to read/write; proficient in understanding and communication of the spoken and written English language; Ability to meet established deadlines; Strong critical thinking skills; Ability to maintain complete confidentiality with sensitive employee information; Ability to present information to employee for training, open enrollment, audits, investigations, etc. , as required; Ability to clearly explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures; Ability to be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities; Ability to perform under circumstances of possible emotional stress and conflict, including dealing with un-cooperative clients.
