B R I E F P O S I T I O N S U M M A R Y: The Human Resources Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for all onboarding activities for new associates. This role will work closely with warehouse management and leadership to build programs and training to increase engagement and build a team that thrives in a warehouse environment. The position requires a passionate, motivated, and driven person who is comfortable in a warehouse environment and on the shop floor. This role will also be responsible for building local pipelines of talents using community outreach, postings, and social media.

D U T I E S and R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S: Oversees onboarding process once the candidate has been approved for hire by the Manager and Talent Acquisition team Prepares and guides the new associate through pre-hire, onboarding and training maintaining ongoing communication Updates department managers on the status of new hires and where they are in the onboarding process on a weekly basis Be available to answer questions from new hires via phone, email and in person Tracks progress of new associate onboarding and follows up with new associates throughout the process to ensure the completion of onboarding Attends orientations and lead onboarding related orientation segments for all associates Works with department managers on onboarding/training efforts Answers various questions from Customer Fulfillment Center Associates, including any questions about the hiring process, onboarding process, or any other H R related issues. Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to develop creative and innovative strategies for sourcing and acquiring new and diverse talent. Continual follow-up and check-in during the first 90 days with all new hires. Acts as a liaison for new hire questions during first 90 days.

Ensures all new hire surveys are taken timely Check-ins with hiring manager to ensure associate is on track for success and gaining knowledge of S O P s. Identifies issues that new hires may be facing in their first 90 days and offering solutions to reduce turnover. Identifies appropriate and effective placement of job postings and source candidates from lists, social media, existing databases, learning institutions, and associations as needed. Develops and maintains a constant candidate pipeline for positions in your geographic area.

Documents and tracks all sourcing related activity as required. Attends/participates in vendor fairs, professional organizations, and attend industry and/or professional events to network and identify additional talent Helps collate resumes from all events and ensure Talent Acquisition Partners have access to them. Fosters the M S C Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of M S C s vision and unity of purpose. Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required To perform this job successfully an associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

E D U C A T I O N and E X P E R I E N C E: Bachelor s degree in Human Resource Management or the equivalent experience is required. Minimum of five years of Talent Acquisition or Onboarding experience required.

Experience creating and delivering training required. Experience identifying and delivering process improvements. Experience building talent pipelines S K I L L S: Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite Must be able to handle classified personnel information with strict confidentiality Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality Ability to work independently as well as with others Previous experience with Success Factors is a plus Public speaking or meeting facilitation skills is a plus Pando Logic.
