Description

As a Key Account Director, you will play a crucial role in managing and expanding key customer relationships through high touch, account management capabilities, and leading business solutions across sales, suppliers, supply chain solutions, and business planning. This position will have a matrix reporting structure to the VPs of National Accounts of NTW and TBC Brands, the Key Account Director will manage the customer experience and drive cross-functional team supporting a large, key customer account. This position is responsible for all aspects of customer integration across TBC, leading both tire sales and supply chain integration. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, account management, understanding their business needs, and building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company’s product portfolio within existing key accounts.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and develop plans for customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and address customer needs effectively.
  • Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions with key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that align with company objectives.
  • Lead business reviews, QBR s, and operations reviews for assigned accounts
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, prepare accurate sales forecasts, and provide regular reports to management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to key accounts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by building relationships, promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and issues, and providing effective solutions.
  • Build a strategic supply chain business plan that includes service levels, product assortment, inventory management, cost savings initiatives, and supplier strategy.
  • Manage distribution agreement contract terms.
  • Lead supply chain as a service ideation to drive synergies and cost reductions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in key account management or a similar role within the distribution, tire manufacturing or automotive industry.
  • Deep understanding of TBC Group products, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Strong business acumen, proven ability to leverage market intelligence, industry trends, competitor activities, to anticipate adjust strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with key clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving abilities to address customer needs and resolve issues.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lead in person site visits and presentations to key accounts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, critical thinking skills, and in-depth knowledge of the tire industry and market dynamics.
