Performs diversified duties in the Food and Nutritional Services department by assisting in meal service to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric, staff, visitors and employees through patient trays, cafeteria, floor nourishment, internal feeding distribution special functions and cleaning. Job Description:JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES – Reviews menu and assembles food and supplies so that they will be ready at required times for patients, cafeteria and special events.
Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipes. Ensures that all equipment and utensils are inspected and maintained for cleanliness and proper operation.
Ensures that required sanitary levels are maintained throughout the food preparation process. Serves on tray assembly line in assigned position.
Performs duties in the service of the cafeteria as dictated by work schedule. Ensures that all foods prepared meet existing standards for quality, freshness, taste and appearance.
