Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor with expertise in grinding operations and advanced equipment maintenance in the meat processing industry. This role is critical for overseeing the functionality and efficiency of our state-of-the-art production facilities, which include robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize the performance of high-tech grinding and processing equipment.
Implement and oversee maintenance protocols for robotics, PLCs, and VFDs to ensure operational excellence.
Develop preventive maintenance plans that incorporate the latest technological advances.
Lead a team of maintenance technicians in the upkeep of sophisticated meat processing machinery.
Collaborate with engineering and IT departments to enhance machinery functions and troubleshooting advanced control systems.
Monitor systems and gather data to improve process efficiencies and reduce downtime.
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with robotic systems and advanced manufacturing technologies in a meat processing context.
Strong technical skills with PLCs and VFDs, and a clear understanding of their application in production settings.
Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain high-tech equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Relevant certifications in electrical or mechanical engineering are preferred.
