Position Details:Title: Manager Trainee Lumber DivisionLocation: Tampa, Florida (Gibsonton)Shift: 7:30am 4:30pm, Monday – FridayCompensation: $50,000 – $55,000Benefits: Healthcare coverage options, 401k, PTO, sick time, and holiday payTravel: Daily local travel; no overnight travelPosition Description:Company is looking for a Manager Trainee for a growing team in their Lumber and Truss division. This position is for a training program where the individual will prepare to manage a lumber and truss plant. The program is expected to take between 12 and 18 months before the individual will manage a location. Expected responsibilities include:Responding to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and take customer ordersOrdering and sourcing productsNegotiating sale and purchase pricesProactively generating sales and promoting company productsExpediting backordersAssisting with pulling inventory, preparing shipments, and customer returnsInteracting with customers and suppliers to obtain and fill orders correctlyTroubleshooting customer concernsRequirements:2-5 years of supervisory experienceBasic knowledge of Microsoft OfficeCarpentry and construction experience and/or hardware/lock knowledge preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lift heavy objects; stand for long periods of time
