MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

Ecotone Renewables is an early-stage manufacturing company building a world without waste. They are building, deploying, and operating ZEUS anaerobic digesters to upcycle food waste into organic fertilizer and renewable biogas. These systems are typically deployed as on-site food waste solutions for schools, hospitals, offices, and food service businesses.
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for scaling Ecotone’s production capacity by supporting the fabrication and assembly of ZEUS digesters. This role includes the entire manufacturing process, from the pre-fabrication of PVC pipes, joints, and metal struts to the final assembly, while maintaining quality standards and efficient inventory management.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Drive production by skillfully fabricating all system components using heavy machinery like table saws and power tools.
- Establish efficient workflows and standard operating procedures for the manufacturing process, ensuring consistent quality and optimal production rates.
- Implement proper safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and continuously looking for ways to improve production efficiency.
- Create and document detailed SOPs for all manufacturing processes, including assembly guides, quality control checkpoints, and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4-8 years’ experience in manufacturing or assembly work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical soldering experience
- Technical or vocational training in manufacturing
- Valid driver’s license
