Responsibilities
Position Summary:
* The Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for obtaining quality invasive diagnostic data during all studies performed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory on inpatients and outpatients ranging from adult to geriatric age.
* The Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist may scrub interventional radiology cases, cardiac cases, PCI, structural heart, pacemakers, and EP ablations.
Qualifications
Required:
* Must have two (2) years experience in invasive vascular procedures.
* Two (2) years of experience with a minimum of one (1) year in area of related field.
* Graduate of an American Medical Association approved school for Radiologist Technologists.
* Must have current CRT license.
* Current CPR certification.
* Basic knowledge of EKG recognition and interpretation.
* Knowledge of film quality control standards.
* Ability to understand and practice aseptic technique.
* Complete annual safety training.
* Complete and maintain department specific training.
Preferred:
* Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years combined experience in healthcare industry.
