Northrop Grumman is seeking a Payroll Assistant IV. This role is not fully virtual – it will offer partial telework, but candidates must be local to Irving, TX. Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Maintains relocation records information by collecting, calculating and entering data to approve payment* Analyzing and researching tax applications, travel policies and employee payment postings for international expatriates* Update relocation information department changes/division transfers* Complete timely updates to employee data* Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases* Upload Relocation Allowances* Perform relocation audits to update employee information* Address non-escalated employee issues in a timely manner* Assist in special projects at the direction of the Manager* Create and manage audit reports* Answering inquiries and requests within SLA* Works with management in identifying gaps in processes and risk factorsBasic Qualifications – to be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:* High school diploma and 6 years of related education, ie: business or accounting and/or relevant work experience* Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite (excel, word and Powerpoint)* Payroll processing experience including relevant regulatory requirements; internal policy and procedure; accounting practices; system software requirements* Knowledge of federal and state laws, etc.
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing* Must posses a strong characteristic for attention to detail and accuracy* Problem-solving; organizing and prioritizing work demands in order to meet critical deadlines* Perform basic payroll calculations* Operating a personal computer including standard software and some specialized accounting software* Must be able to work well in a team environment* Fundamentals of Payroll Certification [1 year completion requirement]Preferred Qualifications – candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:* Payroll experience* Prior experience working in a shared service or center of excellence environment* Fundamentals of Payroll CertificationSalary Range: $51,100.

00 – $85,100. 00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
