Description/Job Summary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and process full cycle weekly, bi-weekly and / or semi-monthly multi-state payroll for 1000+ employees through ADP Vantage.
- Run ADP Time report, verify hours are reasonable based on the number of work days in the pay period. Advise the location and Payroll Manager of any exceptions with the timecard reporting
- Perform special entry adjustments for all types of payroll related transactions (i.e. new hire, termination, leave of absence, garnishments, etc.) into payroll system
- Prepare and create standard and ad hoc reports in ADP Report Writer
- Generate Workday Time off accrual report, identify and verify any variances
- Adjust errors and respond to payroll related questions or issues in a timely manner
- Assist location / employees with questions regarding pay issues pertaining to timesheet, vacation balance, benefits, etc.
- Research, analyze, resolve, and communicate any payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
- Audit each payroll for accuracy and ensure timely processing
- Maintain company payroll files and ensure compliance with all payroll rules, regulations, and that internal controls are maintained
- Assist with the testing for ADP Vantage releases and new system configurations to the ADP Time
- Prepare off cycle and year end payrolls to amended W-2 reporting
WHAT YOU NEED:
Minimum 5 – 8 years of relevant payroll experience
- Experience in working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, balancing multiple and shifting priorities
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, while meeting deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with ADP Vantage, Enterprise or Workforce preferred
- Proficiency with Access, PowerPoint, Power Query preferred
