Position Summary:Assist with the processing Payroll on a weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly basis payroll for all divisions. Essential Functions:* Payroll data entry for all Marcum entities* Run time reports for hourly and overtime employees and send them for approval to the Approving Managers* Run retro reports to capture payroll changes* Review new hires and terminated employees via reports and validate pay in Workday* Calculate and process retro payments, adjustments, and catch-up deductions* Load EIB file for commissions payments, Staffing weekly payroll and any incidentals* Prepare and process settlement for each payroll* Analyze and process off-cycle pay, special payments, adjustments, and reversals* Enter garnishment in associate’s profile for processing* Verify severance payments are processing* Determine root cause of payroll errors by collecting and analyzing information under strict deadlines* Respond professionally to employee payroll inquires via phone and/or email in a timely manner* Assist benefit team with statutory/non-statutory deductions via payroll input* Review associate’s pay slip after any adjustment made to the profile* Run Ad Hoc reports for payroll projects and inquires* Maintain Payroll vendor One Source Virtual (OSV) Ticketing system* Review banking errors / ACH changes via OSV database, follow up with the associate and Finance on findings* Assist with Year-End Adjustments and W2c / Assist in annual payroll audits* Reconcile leave of absence pay in Workday against LOA spreadsheetSkills:* Solid understanding of payroll* Clear written and verbal communication skills* Excellent time management skills* Strong attention to detail* Work well in a team environment* Able to maintain confidential information* Strong grasp of the end-to-end business process, understanding of payroll requirements, tax laws and regulations for employees working in the United States* Ability to work under pressure prioritizes and completes tasks in order of importanceEducation, Knowledge, Training, and Experience:* Bachelor’s degree (B. A) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school or one or more years related experience and/or training.
