Product Management Lead Analyst – Medicaid – Express Scripts – Remote

The Product Management Lead Analyst is primarily responsible for providing high quality support needed to implement state initiatives impacting Medicaid and / Exchange plans. This position will provide a supporting role in guiding clients and account teams to find solutions to meet new state requirements. This involves working in an ambiguous environment where the clients impacted and the requirements may vary from client to client or from state to state. Success in this role would be dependent on the quality of support provided in regards to navigating through the complex benefits and efficiently working with clients, account teams and internal partners to design solutions and provide mitigation strategies to overcome any issues around non-compliance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support the Medicaid and Healthcare Reform Product and Capabilities Team’s cross-functional work in understanding, analyzing and implementing solutions to meet state regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to understand what possible options are available to overcome non-compliance.
  • Support the communication of strategies and deliverables with clients, account teams and leadership effectively.
  • Create effective and concise documentation to reflect strategies, available options for clients and implemented solutions
  • Support cross-functional SMEs in end-to-end ownership of regulation life cycle.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance support for implemented regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or five (5) years of experience within a PBM setting
  • Knowledge of state regulations and Medicaid/ ACA plans preferred
  • Problem solving, critical thinking and ability to work in an ambiguous environment sought
  • Able to synthesize regulations and present them to clients and account teams in an effective manner
  • Able to communicate effectively on complex compliance issues with clients and account teams
  • Excellent communication skills including ability to present to groups including clients
  • Excellent documentation skills with use of Project plans, detailed notes and tracking of key deliverables
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines in complex situations
  • Experience working on IT projects to make enterprise level enhancements
  • Knowledge of benefit setups and allowable changes preferred.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 71,900 – 119,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
