The 5th Hand assists with end-winder operations of the paper-making process. Also, assists the beater room and machine crew during paper breaks to ensure optimum runnability. n n Responsibilities:nncoring, size adjustments, banding, weighing, wrapping, and stencilingntransporting finished rolls to storage npreparing and stocking supplies and general housekeepingnn ProAmpac’s Norfolk, NY site is a 24/7 manufacturing facility producing rolls of specialty Kraft Paper from 100% recycled material. This position works a 12-hour rotating swing shift, a uniquely designed schedule, that allows the benefit of working (on average) fifteen, 12-hour shifts per month, leaving fifteen non-workdays, with seven that are consecutively.
This equates to one week off per month without skipping a paycheck.
