Enhancing working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities
Monitoring vendors on their performance on delivery deadlines and completeness.
Using internal data to determine who the best vendor will be for in demand items and categories.
Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase records
Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies
Conducting ongoing market research to identify beneficial purchase opportunities.
Reviewing purchase orders for correct item data, pricing, and deadlines.
Reviewing offerings from vendors and doing competitive research confirm demand potential for our customers.
Working directly with the company founder to enhance our company mission statement.
