Job Description: Temp Garnishment Specialist – Job Description
The candidate should be able to read court documents, Federal and State orders thoroughly and accurately and review and monitor quality on cases assigned and processed.
The role requires the general understanding of the liens and garnishment process, and candidate must be detail oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate is expected to assure all protocols are followed through the appropriate channels and timeframe while taking quality measures into account when handling legal orders.
Job Responsibilities:
Investigate, research, and resolve complex inquiries related to garnishments and support orders for employees
Review all garnishment and support orders from state agencies or other legal institutions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with deadlines
Update ticketing system with documentation related to garnishment progress
Prepare garnishment input form and input garnishments in Payroll system
Manage garnishment mailing list, tracker, and report
Respond to answer letters and prepare required paperwork to be mailed with payment
Work with Accounts Payable to create and/or update garnishment vendors, process stop payments and/or check reissues
Position requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required.
1-2 years of Garnishment or Payroll related experience.
Solid proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
High mathematical aptitude.
Strong relationship building skills and work ethic.
Experience with data entry and administrative tasks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while integrating attention to detail and organization.
Experience with SAP, ECP and Success Factors preferred but not required.
Comments for Suppliers: Candidates can be remote, to work on EST schedule. Bachelor’s degree required.
