Position: Data Quality Analyst
Location: Remote in Los Angeles, CA – NYC, NY
Duration: 6m Contract (w/ ext. or conversion)
Overview
3-5 years’ experience working in an analytics role consisting of statistical design/analysis
Any of the following: Randomized, Randomized Blocks, Latin Squares, and Factorial designs, Parametric tests, or Nonparametric tests
2 years’ experience with SQL, Python, OR R for structured datasets, ETL, data cleaning, etc.
BS in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Analytics, or similar
Nice to Have
AB testing with similar tools such as Optimizely, VMO, Firebase, Adobe Target

Day-to-Day
The Testing and Optimization Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across the entire Starz Organization and will provide direction for design and the implementation of hypothesis tests, post-hoc analyses, and aid in the implementation and validation of testing tools. Some of the key areas that the analyst will work across are product design, messaging and CRM, paid media, pricing, and creative testing. They will have a strong understanding of statistical testing methods, have some experience with programming languages such as R or Python, will feel comfortable working with data in a SQL environment, and will be able to effectively share their findings with business stakeholders.
