This is a Fully Remote Role & the ideal candidate will be seated in the Central or Eastern Time Zone

National General, an Allstate company is seeking an expert in estimating damages for RVs, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have experience writing estimates on RVs from photos which requires advanced knowledge and experience. Licensing is not required but beneficial, and candidates should be familiar with CCC, Duncan (RV), and Adjustrite (Commercial) software.

Job Summary

Responsible for creating or auditing a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in either the auto or specialty lines leading to the proper disposition.

Responsible for training, mentoring, controlling quality and providing technical assistance on material damage claims.

Key Responsibilities

Possesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities

Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company

Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines

Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on best option

Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines

Education

4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $68,000 – $84,000 and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
