Job Description: The State of Ohio has over $700 million in grant money available for our very specific contracting service. ERC is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our soil remediation, underground fuel tank removal, and brownfield cleanup services to Environmental Consultants, Certified Professionals, Geologists, and Professional Engineers throughout the state of Ohio.

Proficiency in utilizing CRM tools will be essential to manage leads, track sales progress, and optimize customer relationships. The State of Ohio has over $700 million in grant money available for our very specific contracting service. Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the environmental consulting industry in Ohio. This includes researching potential clients, establishing contact, and initiating the sales process.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics in collaboration with the executive team to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration. Continuously assess market trends and competition to adapt and refine sales approaches. Relationship Management: Utilize HubSpot CRM to cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and prospective customers. Nurture long-term partnerships by understanding their unique needs, providing exceptional customer service, and acting as a trusted advisor.

Product Knowledge: Acquire a deep understanding of ERC’s soil remediation, underground storage tank removal, and brownfield cleanup services. Articulate the benefits and value propositions of our services to clients. Sales Presentations: We have a great presentation. Deliver persuasive sales presentations to clients, highlighting the advantages of ERC’s solutions and addressing any concerns or objections they may have.

Leverage data to personalize presentations based on clients’ interests and history. Proposal Development: Collect information to collaborate with the technical estimating and project teams for them to develop proposals and quotes for potential projects. Ensure proposals align with client requirements and industry standards. Attend Industry Events: Represent ERC at relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, generate leads, and enhance the company’s presence in the market.

Capture event leads and manage follow-up activities. Requirements: Bachelor s degree in business, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the environmental remediation or related industry, or civil contracting. Familiarity with environmental consulting practices Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to comprehend technical information and convey it in a clear and concise manner to clients. Proficiency in using HubSpot CRM or similar CRM software to track leads, opportunities, and sales progress.
