Sales & Use Tax Analyst – Remote – Wisconsin Any Remote Skilled

Our client, a leading Manufacturer, is seeking a Sales & Use Tax Analyst to join their team. As a Sales & Use Tax Analyst, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sales & Use Tax Analyst

Location: Wisconsin (Remote)

Target Pay Rate: $30/hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform research on sales & use tax laws and compliance utilizing state & local websites and research tools.

• Maintain accurate tax information on initial job startups and make updates as tax changes arise.

• Assist with the preparation of sales/use tax returns and audits, if applicable.

• Prepare tax exempt certificates and manage annual property tax bills.

• Complete various tax projects and handle customer inquiries regarding sales and use taxes.

What’s Needed?

• Associate Degree in Accounting.

• 2 to 4 years of finance and tax experience, specifically in sales/use tax.

• Experience with manufacturing and construction industries. (REQUIRED)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel

• Ability to research taxability by state and make accurate determinations. (REQUIRED)
