Role Summary

The Technical Success Engineer ensures the technical health of our customers, providing guidance on best practices for Splunk Cloud and Enterprise deployments. The role involves assisting customers in their adoption journey through product support, advisory services, and critical issue resolution, ultimately enhancing their investment value and platform efficiency.

What you’ll get to do

• Act as a point of contact for technical health issues for Public Sector customers and collaborate with escalation management teams.
• Provide mentorship, planning, and recommendations for customer technical health.
• Supervise customer environment health, including case management, outages, projects, and performance diagnostics.
• Coordinate internally to resolve issues and facilitate upgrades, feature awareness, and maintenance.
• Understand and communicate customer needs to internal teams and leadership.
• Keep customers informed about product roadmaps, releases, and organizational updates.
• Analyze customer interactions to recommend additional services and education.
• Assess cloud usage and optimize workloads.
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to review service levels and performance.
• Deliver onboarding, enablement, and management workshops for customers.

Must-have Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• 5+ years in technical support, professional services, or systems administration/engineering.
• Experience with Public Sector accounts and building customer relationships.
• Knowledge of all Splunk-related products.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Splunk Architect Certification within 6 months of start.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical field.
• Knowledge of software development and technical environments.
• Solid understanding of Splunk Core Platform.
• Certifications from AWS, Google, or Azure.

Additional Details

Base Pay Range: varies by location, from $105,600 to $181,500 annually. Compensation may include incentives, equity, and benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Learn more at splunkbenefits.com.
