Primary LocationNew York – 7 World Trade Center (26400)Role/ResponsibilitiesThe SVP/Manager, Structured Finance US RMBS Surveillance is a visible, senior-level role within the US Structured Finance leadership team as well as more broadly in Moody’s Investors Service (MIS). The mandate for the position includes the delivery of MIS products and services and the management of the team focused on surveillance of ratings and research of Residential Mortgage assets in the US. Work spans nearly 20 sub-asset classes with ratings governed by multiple published methodologies. Position Description:The candidate for this position will be a proven business leader of high integrity and intellect who will manage the business to the highest professional standards, quality, and ethics.

The individual will contribute to the strategic positioning and development of this critical structured finance franchise and will be a compelling communicator and educator, both internally and externally. As part of the MIS Structured Finance US leadership group, the individual will be a crucial contributor to and collaborator on the development and execution of the overall strategic direction, advancement of MIS’ market presence, management within its risk framework, management of regulatory obligations, and development of the team’s talent base. Primary objectives for the role include:* External* Monitor current and anticipated market conditions and continually position the franchise to monitor our ratings, research, and related services on a timely basis in accordance with Moody’s policies and procedures.
