We re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Product Development Lead to join our Community Banking Group. This role is located in New York and working HYBRID schedule.

In this role, you ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Responsible for crafting the strategies behind product development and delivery. Must have market knowledge to integrate the demands of various US regions and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Execute cross-functional product development efforts of the Community Banking Group to meet community-based financial institutions lending, treasury, and back-office needs.
  • Analyze current and emerging opportunities across the bank and recommend new product development opportunities for Community Banking Group
  • Drive accountability across the organization by leading execution-oriented processes and product development, including drafting executive level reporting.
  • Serves as an expert for staff on a select range of Company products/services.
  • Effectively conduct, manage, and oversee end-to-end product development activities such as project planning, scope management, issue/risk identification and mitigation, internal relationship management and other project documentation for projects of high complexity.

To be successful in this role, we re seeking the following:

  • Strong communicating, influencing, interpersonal and relationship-building skills; must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to create powerful presentations which deliver complex topics into easily understood formats
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative research to inform complex decision making
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to balance multiple and changing priorities
  • 5-10 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Bachelor s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
