Shipping and Inventory Control Manager Any Intern Part Time

The Shipping and Inventory Control Manager’s main responsibility is to oversee incoming & outgoing materials and products for in-house machine builds and spare parts sales orders. You will handle the packaging, labeling, documentation, coordination, and tracking of outgoing shipments, as well as the receiving, inspection, inventory management, and record-keeping of incoming shipments. Effective communication, attention to detail for accuracy, and adherence to shipping regulations and procedures are essential in this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Unpack, identify, and accurately receive incoming parts into the ERP system.
• Re-package parts for sales orders and inventory.
• Prepare parts orders for shipment with UPS, FedEx, or DHL.
• Put inventory away for stock, staged orders, or WIP machine builds.
• Prep and pack equipment for shipment.
• Maintain photos of each machine shipment before & after crating.
• Pick parts from inventory for sales orders and equipment builds.
• Order proper crate sizes for equipment shipments.
• Assist with physical inventory checks and organization.
• Schedule LTL & dedicated trucks for pick-up.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping & inventory area.
• Export documentation & coordinating shipments.
• Other related duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• High school education is required.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently to complete tasks.
• Effectively communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers.
• Proficiency in Google G-suite preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, UPS, and Fed-Ex software preferred.

Pay: $25-29/hr depending on education, experience, and skills.
