Position Title and Summary

The Internal Parts and Service Admin will manage inventory control and transport various material between different LRS sites.

Reports To

Facility Manager

Responsibilities

* Assist in daily ordering and inventory control

* Work side by side with Mechanics and other parts personal on the parts department needs

* Place stock orders with select vendors based on reorder points

* Work with vendors on price modifications, ensuring pricing is accurate and LRS is receiving the best price equal to quality

* Report shortages, backordered, and damaged shipments

* Notify Shop Manager when parts are not available or backordered

* Contact vendors for warranty and return credits

* Communicate effectively in person, by phone, or via email with all shop employees, management, and vendors

* Keep track of items out for rebuild or testing and follow up on them

* Participate in inventory cycle counts

* Pickup/deliver parts, drivers, and/or assist in delivery of vehicles as needed

* Work to constantly to improve the parts department and shops daily operation

* Perform other duties as assigned by management

* Working under direct supervision of the Facility Manager

Qualifications / Knowledge / Critical Skills

* High school diploma or GED

* Ability and willingness to travel frequently between different sites

* Must have a valid drivers license

* Self-motivated with excellent customer service and organizational skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Fluency in Spanish is a plus

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear

* Occasionally required to stand and walk

* Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

* Some regional travel required
