Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $25.00 – $33.00/Hour
Shift: 2nd Shift
Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM; Monday – Friday

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
– Assists the Maintenance Supervisor to improve the Maintenance departments, premises and grounds
– Troubleshoot and repair die cast machine, trim presses, holding furnaces and other secondary equipment
– Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks
– Bend / install conduits through 2”, including EMT and rigid types
– Install, replace, and repair motor controls, contractors, overloads, relays and limit switches
– Troubleshoot programs for controllers
– Complete paperwork and forms
– Work with subcontractors to complete projects on time
Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
– High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of technical school or at two years of experience working on die-cast machinery
– Formal training in hydraulics
– Experience with electro-mechanics, PLC programming, pneumatics
– Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel, PLC)
– Able to read electrical / hydraulic blueprints in English
– Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills
– Able to work with minimal supervision
